J.W. Anderson x Uniqlo is Back For Round 2

The second J.W. Anderson x Uniqlo collection will launch on 20 April.

After a raving success in its debut, Uniqlo is bringing back its J.W. Anderson x Uniqlo collection for Spring/Summer 2018 — and it's just as good as the first one.

Ditching the wool coats and trenches of Fall/Winter 2018, Jonathan Anderson heads down to Britain’s Brighton Beach to find his inspiration. The popular summer destination formed the basis of his new creations, with the collection celebrating the 1950s heydays of the iconic location.

Fusing quality fabrics with a fabulous fit and functionality, the colours are brighter than ever, chosen to mirror the vibrancy of Brighton Beach. "In the 2nd collection of the collaboration, I’m looking for this idea of ‘British Summer,’ the idea of being on the Brighton beach," says Jonathan Anderson. "Something which is very lightweight, very airy, with a lot of linen, and cotton that has a 1950’s subcultural movement. With a little bit of ease and something which is quintessential.”

From rolled-up straight cut jeans to pyjama cut pants and geometric-cut striped tees, the collection is perfect for our island's tropical climate.
