Omega's Seamaster Diver 300M Resurfaces Better than Ever

To celebrate 25 years of this legendary timepiece, the brand has rolled out a collection of 14 new and improved models.

In the 1995 James Bond movie Goldeneye, actor Pierce Brosnan wore an Omega Seamaster Diver 300M with a striking blue dial. It's no surprise that it's the British spy's ticker of choice, given that the character was an ex-commander in the Royal Naval Reserve and the Seamaster is also right at home underwater. Ever since Goldeneye, Bond has sported an Omega Seamaster on his wrist in every film in the series, earning it the moniker 'the Bond watch'.

While 007 undoubtedly cemented its iconic status in pop culture, the Seamaster Diver 300M has also been well-loved by divers, athletes and researchers for its design and ocean technology since it first launched in 1993. To celebrate 25 years of this legendary timepiece, the brand has rolled out a collection of 14 new and improved models, with six in stainless steel and eight in a mix of steel and gold.

Now in a larger 42mm, each new Diver 300M runs on the METAS-certified Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, which provides improved precision, performance and magnetic resistance. The iconic diving watch has been updated in ceramic, and Omega has also brought back the wavy pattern that was a distinguishing feature of the original - the detail is now found on the timepiece's ceramic dial.
