Gucci Goes Greek for PF19 Campaign
For its pre-fall 2019 campaign, Gucci visits the ruined temples of the Selinunte Archaeological Park in Sicily. In the images, typical characters from Venice Beach, California, such as hardcore punks, skaters, bodybuilders and surfers, are photographed in counterpoint to an ancient Greek city of the 7th century BC.
With the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, Gucci explores cultural heritage through the juxtaposition of the retro collection theme, the campaign scenario and its models. The collection's pieces include velvet blazers, ornate skirts and tops, and a variety of 70's and monogrammed bold pants. See below the campaign video and more images:
