Han So-hee Becomes Boucheron's First Korean Global Ambassador
The gorgeous South Korean actress is officially the French High Jewellery maison's new face
Known for having an impeccable "Face Card" and her diverse performances in countless K-dramas and films, South Korean actress Han So-hee has been announced to be Boucheron's first Korean global ambassador and will be representing the French High Jewellery maison on an international scale. The announcement was made in a series of stunning monochrome campaign images with the actress modelling the maison's Quatre and Serpent Bohème collection.
The luxury jewellery maison aims to expand their presence in the South Korean market, which continues to be a cultural and entertainment hub. “I am very happy and proud to welcome Han So-hee within the Boucheron family," CEO of Boucheron, Hélène Poulit-Duquesne said regarding this partnerhsip, "The strong values we share, her inspiring career path and her unique sense of style makes her the perfect embodiment of the Maison’s ethos. By announcing her as our new global brand ambassadress, we also reassert our presence in Korea which is more than ever a strategic market for Boucheron.”
Han also shares the same sentiments saying, “I am very honoured to become an ambassador of a High Jewellery Maison with such singular identity and such unique legacy. I very much look forward to this exciting creative collaboration”
Getting her start by Han So-hee became a household name after her iconic portrayal of diabolical Da-Kyung in the 2020 mega hit series, The World of The Married and has only gone from strength to strength, expanding her acting repertoire by exploring (and excelling) in multiple genres from romance shows like Nevetheless to tense, high-action dramas like Netflix's Your Name.
She will also be starring in a brand new historical thriller drama alongside Park Seo-joon this year, titled Gyeongseong Creature. Gyeongseong was what Seoul was called in the past as the show, which will be aired on Netflix, is set in 1945 during the Japanese rule over South Korea and tells the story of the lengths people will go to survive in dire situations. The show was first teased during Netflix's TUDUM event and is highyl buzzed about for its A-list cast and is set to air late 2023.
