Mastering Radiance with Boucheron’s Serpent Bohème Solarité Collection
The Fall/Winter 2022 Collection from French luxury jeweller Boucheron adds a new spin to its classic Serpent Bohème line.
The year was 1968 and Boucheron just launched its Serpent Bohème collection. The emblematic diamond-studded droplet greeted the world for the first time, and it has been around ever since. Something about the collection is captivating, creating a romance with jewellery.
For the Fall/Winter 2022 season, Boucheron’s beloved Serpent Bohème has been intertwined with another dazzling symbol — the sun. The Serpent Bohème Solarité line joins the House as the latest collection, starring Maison Ambassador Alexa Chung at the heart of the glittering campaign.
The grand showstopper of the Serpent Bohème line is the multi-motif necklace. A 360º design emulates the blinding beams of the sun all around the neck, with varying lengths and motifs. The cascading lines of light emanating from the necklace draw sparkle to the face and décolletage, with a delicate and modern feminine touch.
The asymmetrical earrings are another key offering from the Solarité line. Each pair comes with one pear-shaped diamond stud and one large ear cuff-style earring. A model for the contemporary woman captures the brilliance of the sun as sunbeams bursting upwards from the curvature of the ear, and the honeycomb latticework known from the Serpent Bohème line finds its place on each gravity-defying droplet.
A far more subtle piece from the collection is the single stud earring. A small but mighty display of architecture built with jewellery is seen on the earring that carries with it all the signature elements of the Serpent Bohème line, including the diamond-studded teardrops, beads of gold, and the iconic, intricate latticework.
