BLACKPINK's Jennie is The First to Rock Chanel's Multifunctional Première Sound Watch
The global superstar and Chanel muse is one of the first to style the new accessory that's a harmonious blend of a watch, necklace, and headphones.
Chanel recently unveiled its Coco Crush pop-up store in the vibrant city of Seoul. BLACKPINK's Jennie, affectionately known as the "Human Chanel," graced the event in an all-black ensemble, exuding sophistication. Her semi-transparent crocheted little black dress, paired with Chanel logo black stockings and a petite black handbag, perfectly accentuated her look. However, it was the stunning jewellery adorning her neck that caught the attention of the fashion set.
The accessory in question, which looks like a watch, necklace, and headphones combined, is the Chanel Première Sound Watch. It's a new three-in-one design by Arnaud Chastaingt, the head of Chanel's watch creative studio. The Première watch, first released in 1987, takes inspiration from Chanel's iconic elements, like the octagonal case that mirrors the shape of the N°5 perfume bottle cap, and the leather interwoven watch chain that resembles the chain on Chanel's classic handbags. While honoring its heritage, the Première series has consistently evolved with creative styles over the years, and the Première Sound Watch is the latest innovative piece.
The designer extended the leather strap of the Première watch into a long necklace, connecting it to black and gold in-ear headphones decorated with the iconic double C logo. These headphones are not just for show; they are fully functional, making this accessory both stylish and practical.
