In an unexpected yet delightful reunion, BLACKPINK's Jennie and Billie Eilish came together once again in Seoul, South Korea, five years after their memorable Coachella encounter in 2019. It was then that Jennie affectionately declared her admiration for Eilish, dubbing the "What Was I Made For?" artist her “crush” on Instagram.
Fast forward to June 18, 2024, when Billie Eilish held an exclusive listening party in Seoul for her latest album, Hit Me Hard and Soft. Fans were treated to a special moment when Jennie joined Billie on stage, creating a buzz that rippled through the audience. Jennie, the "SOLO" singer, appeared effortlessly chic in a white tee paired with shorts, a black blazer adorned with accessories, and black sneakers. Her signature dewy look and high ponytail added a touch of sophistication to her laid-back style. Billie, known for her distinctive fashion sense, sported a graphic off-white T-shirt and green cargo pants, exuding her characteristic cool.
The event was marked by a series of heartwarming interactions between the two pop icons, whose playful banter quickly captivated the internet. At one point, Billie inquired about Jennie's favourite track from her new album. Without hesitation, Jennie named "Birds of a Feather" as her top pick, before inviting Billie out for a meal. The admiration was mutual, as Billie expressed her gratitude for Jennie's presence, saying, “I love you, Jennie. Thank you for doing this.”
Jennie also took the opportunity to subtly tease her own upcoming album, suggesting that Billie interview her when it is released. This interaction not only highlighted their friendship but also set the stage for future collaborations.
