Team Effort: Mulberry X Acne Studios

Designer collaborations aren’t such a novelty anymore, but the latest from Mulberry and Acne Studios will have you sit up and take notice. Combining Scandi cool with English charm, the two fashion houses have teamed up for a leather goods collection, where key designs from each brand are reworked by the other in a marvellous mash-up of styles.

The cult favourite Musubi bag from Acne Studios is blended with Mulberry’s timeless Bayswater, taking the structured shape of the latter and wrapping it with the origami knot of the former. The top-handle tote comes in regular and micro sizes, and shades of black, pink, and oak brown.

Crafted from Mulberry’s signature Scotchgrain leather, the messenger bag and cross-body satchel are reimagined with multiple buckle fastenings and oversized metal hardware. Available in pink or crocodile-embossed black leather, the styles have a removable shoulder strap printed with the names of both houses.

The collection also includes a range of small leather goods in either Scotchgrain or pink grain leather, such as a laptop case, pouch, coin purse, zip-around wallet, and lanyard. The collaboration logo is scattered throughout the collection, featuring the letters of Acne Studios like leaves in the Mulberry tree emblem.
