When the name Longchamp is mentioned, chances are the first thing that comes to mind is the iconic Le Pliage. Not that there’s anything wrong with that classic design, but the luxury house has so much more to offer when it comes to exceptional accessories. So if you’re willing to give your faithful L.P. a rest, we suggest the Longchamp Roseau instead.
The Roseau bag was first introduced in the ‘90s, with a streamlined trapezoid silhouette and a distinctive toggle inspired by bamboo (roseau means ‘reed’ in French). Shaped like the button of a duffle coat for easy fastening, the closure is the hallmark of the line’s DNA.
This season, the Roseau is reinterpreted with a contemporary twist, featuring a larger toggle, thicker handles, and varied colourways like black, blue, and orange, as well as a mottled grey snakeskin print.
For a more minimalist feel, there’s also a version in luxurious lambskin, which comes in four sizes and three timeless colours.
The Roseau line will be available at all Longchamp boutiques from 19 November onward
