Stella McCartney Autumn 2018 Collection Launch in L.A.
Stella McCartney returned to Los Angeles to celebrate the launch of her new Women’s Autumn 2018 and Men’s Autumn/Winter 2018 collections. Held at the iconic Studio Instrument Rentals Studios in Hollywood, the star-studded event was an homage to fashion, music and the local L.A. scene. A-listers turned up in full force in support of Stella – the guest list included former Beatles members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, Katy Perry, Kate Hudson, Miranda Kerr, Goldie Hawn and many more.
The collection was presented alongside surprise performances with musical sets by BØRNS, Grimes, St. Vincent, Beck, and a surprise onstage appearance of Paul McCartney, alongside the Compton Kidz Choir.
The new Women’s Autumn 2018 collection features a reinterpretation of Stella McCartney’s signature masculine play on feminine silhouettes. It explores the multi-faceted wardrobe of a woman – revealing a collection of optical prints, deconstructed lace, animal prints, masculine tailoring, and a new re-imagination of Adidas Original classics.
