Ain't No Summer Party Like a Stella McCartney Party
Stella McCartney hosted her signature rooftop summer party at Andaz Tokyo to celebrate the World of Stella and L’Officiel Singapore was there to soak up everything bit of fun. Here’s what went down at the event.
For the first time, the designer showcased all her collections together in one single event – womenswear, menswear, accessories, Adidas by Stella McCartney, swimwear, eyewear and even her latest fragrance.
At the women’s area, models frolic in the brand’s Spring 2018 collection and celebrated Stella’s sense of irreverent style by playing rounds of mini golf.
Over at men’s, models dressed in Stella McCartney’s Fall Winter 2017 collection got competitive over electric air hockey – all in the name of fun. Guests also tried their luck in winning Stella McCartney goodies at the claw machines.
An immersive virtual reality zone brought the Adidas by Stella McCartney Fall Winter 2017 collection to life by showcasing a world that transits seamlessly between two parallel worlds – city and nature.
A popcorn cart (in purple, no less) accompanied the latest POP Bluebell fragrance, with a looping advertising film on the side. The campaign stars Lourdes Leon, Madonna’s daughter, who playfully teases her hair in the video while a voiceover (presumably hers) made a statement about embracing individuality and pioneering young women with a deeper purpose.
The party saw an stellar turnout, including Rina Ota, Yasuyuki Shuto, Hajime Sorayama, Christel Takigawa, Mari Natsuki, Harry Sugiyama, Yuki, Mademoiselle Yulia, Ryo Ryusei to name a few.
All Autumn Winter 2017 collections will be available in stores this month, while the Women’s Spring 2018 collection drop in November.
