Star Power: Jennifer Lopez Is The New Face Of Coach
Jennifer Lopez is having a pretty good year, to say the least. From celebrating her 50th birthday and getting engaged to Alex Rodriguez to receiving the CFDA Fashion Icon award and starring in Hustlers, Lopez has been unstoppable. To top it all off, she's just been announced as the new ambassador for Coach. The American brand has dropped a teaser image of JLo, who is set to be the house's global face starting from the coming Spring 2020 season for all campaigns including leather goods, ready-to-wear, and footwear, joining her male counterpart Michael B Jordan.
A bonafide New York Girl (hello, Jenny From The Block?), there is no better pairing than these two Big Apple icons who have both been shaped by their New York roots, and share the same vision of possibility, the spirit of optimism, and authentic self-expression.
JLo said of her appointment, "I’m so excited for this collaboration with Coach. It is a timeless brand that I’ve always been a fan of and the upcoming collection really speaks to my personal style––an uptown downtown mix."
And creative director Stuart Vevers adds, "Jennifer is so authentic. She's determined and she’s an original who has followed her own path to do things her own way - she really embodies the attitude of Coach and our new campaign."
"I loved when Jennifer carried the Coach Signature bags in her 2002 video All I Have. She's from New York like Coach, which creates another authentic connection with our heritage, and I’m particularly excited about bringing Jennifer and Juergen Teller together."
Are you excited for Jenny's big debut in Spring 2020? Because we definitely are.
