Change, speed and pure energy- these were what fuelled Coach's Creative Director, Stuart Vevers, direction as he presented his Spring/Summer 2020 collection at New York Fashion Week. Channelling free spirits making their way into the future, models strutted through New York's High Line park in comfortable sandals and sneakers, in a picture of unapologetic practicality. In addition to the collection on the catwalk, bags were a highlight of this season's show. All 78 of them, each coming from an archival design showcasing 78 years of the brand's legacy, a product of the reinterpretation of Vevers.

"The colors of spring reflect optimism, pure energy and the beginning of a new decade in New York City." said Stuart Vevers.

For this year, Vevers also collaborated with artist Richard Bernstein- his vivid illustrations in the collection playfully contrasted with Coach's strong and unmistakable leather goods heritage. Effectively bringing across Vever's vision of an intentional synthesis of minimalism and optimism, melding the past with modernity, resulting in a collection as dynamic as the city for which it was created.
