Sealed With A Kiss: The Miu Miu Kisses Capsule Celebrates Love On The Big Screen
Romance isn’t dead. At least, not if Miu Miu has anything to do with it. The luxury house has just dropped a Valentine’s Day collection, and honestly, it’s enough to melt our cold, dead hearts. The oh-so-sweet capsule of t-shirts, aptly dubbed Miu Miu Kisses, celebrates some of the most legendary romantic moments to grace the big screen, from the life-giving kiss of Prince Charming to that farewell scene in Casablanca.
And there’s a love story to suit every taste. If you like a happy ending (and who doesn’t?), Disney’s Snow White and Prince Charming or Alex Owens and Nick Hurley from Flashdance definitely deliver on the aww-inducing front. On the other hand, the ghostly embrace in Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride should appeal if you lean towards the more gothic end of the romantic spectrum. Passion is embodied in the dramatic embrace between Rhett Butler and Scarlett O’Hara in Gone With The Wind – you can’t help but swoon at his “You should be kissed and often, by someone who knows how” – as well as the tear-jerking parting kiss between Casablanca’s Rick Blaine and Ilsa Lund.
