February is a month traditionally associated with purification (The month was named after the Roman festival Februalia, a month-long festival of atonement), it is only fitting then, that the theme of our February issue comes as such: Rebirth.

“Coming out of a trying 2020 (that we certainly still made the most of), L’Officiel Singapore is poised and charged for 2021, which marks the centenary of L’Officiel as a global brand,” says Ian Lee, Editor-in-Chief of L’Officiel Singapore.

And who better to grace our double-covers this month than with Chinese superstar, Fan Bingbing, who’s set for a colossal comeback in the Hollywood spy flick, The 355, after two years of staying out of the big screen. True to the theme of rebirth, Fan is decked in the all-new Givenchy by Matthew Williams.

The bigtime actress speaks to L’Officiel Singapore exclusively about her vision for her career, what she had learnt about herself and the world during the pandemic, and some of the most important things in her life.

Sharing our vision of hope for the year, she says: “In 2021, my focus will still be on my career as an actor – creating roles, and performing them. As for beauty and skincare, I will continue working hard and trying new things with my line. At the same time, I’ll pay more attention to being with my family and taking care of myself.”
