Gigi Hadid Joins Liu Wen For Prada SS19 Campaign
Gigi Hadid is having a great week. After making her Prada runway debut at the Italian brand's horror-themed Men's AW19 show on Sunday, the 23-year-old model is now officially the face of the house's Spring/Summer 2019 campaign.
Shot by Willy Vanderperre, Prada's latest campaign takes cues from the world of cinema. Hadid joins Chinese supermodel Liu Wen, as well as Anok Yai, Freja Beha Erichsen and Maike Inga in starring in "film posters" for the Italian brand's upcoming series of short films.
These films, also directed by Vanderperre and scored by sound artist Frédéric Sanchez, will feature each model as a character named after Prada's beloved bags, such as the Odette, Margit and Sidonie. The films will be revealed over the course of the next two months on Prada's website.
