You Can Now Listen to Prada on Spotify

Now playing: Prada Spring/Summer 2019 Campaign.

Although they are often overlooked, the soundtracks of Prada's campaign films and runway shows have always been worthy of a mention. At the recent FW19 Menswear show, for example, the iconic theme songs of films like The Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Addams Family provided the sonic backdrop for Prada's horror-inspired collection. Even before that, the Italian brand showed us that its music taste is as progressive as its designs with the SS16 campaign, which featured a track by cult-favourite Venezuelan producer, Arca.

That's why we couldn't be happier that Prada has finally joined everyone's favourite music streaming service, Spotify. On Prada's profile, you'll find playlists revolving around its new Spring 2019 campaign, which includes film scores by Frédéric Sanchez.

Shot by Willy Vanderperre, each campaign film follows a character that embodies one of Prada's signature bags. As you'll see (and hear), the films are heavily influenced by cinema and reflect different genres like suspense and romance. Liu Wen stars as the titular character of the horror-inspired Odette film below, while Gigi Hadid plays a mysterious woman on a mission in the thrilling Sidonie short.

Be sure to head over to Prada's Spotify page to fully immerse yourselves in the Italian brand's musical universe, which includes Ryuichi Sakamoto, Frédéric Chopin and David Bowie, among others. For an even more fashionable listening experience, we highly recommend wearing a pair of Louis Vuitton's wireless earphones, too.
