Miu Miu Taps Chloë Sevigny, Kim Basinger And Du Juan For Its Holiday Campaign

Talk about an all-star cast! Miu Miu just debuted a new campaign to mark the forthcoming holiday season, and it’s headlined by an A-list ensemble that includes the label’s longtime muses Chloë Sevigny, Kim Basinger and Du Juan, as well as a number of rising actresses such as Euphoria’s Storm Reid, The Crown’s Emma Corrin, Tomorrowland’s Raffey Cassidy and Jordan Kristine Seamón, who appears alongside Sevigny in the Luca Guadagnino-directed miniseries We Are Who We Are.

Revolving around the idea of an icon, which, in Miu Miu’s vocabulary, refers not only to “a symbol worthy of veneration and adulation”, but also to “a set of beliefs [and] a way of life”. Lensed by photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott with creative direction by Katie Grand, the diverse cast — all united by their “absolute individuality” — shows off Miu Miu’s Pre-Spring 2021 collection, which is inspired by the paradoxes inherent in femininity and luxuriates in floral prints, crystal embellishments, vintage-inspired ruffles, sweet bows and pastel hues.
