Gucci Will Show its Spring 2019 Collection at a Nightclub in Paris
Gucci has announced that its Spring 2019 show will be held at the historic Théâtre Le Palace nightclub in Paris on September 24.
The Théâtre was chosen for resonating with Alessandro Michele's vision for the Italian brand, and because it "gave life to a subculture that has inspired young generations up until today."
Gucci had earlier announced its decision to show its Spring/Summer 2019 collection at Paris Fashion Week instead of Milan, as a sort of curtsey towards France. Previously, the brand had also devoted an advertising campaign to the student unrest in Paris during the '60s, and its Cruise 2019 collection was unveiled at an ancient cemetery in the French town of Arles.
