Fendi may have fashioned its logo to resemble the one from sportswear brand FILA for its Fall 2018 collection, but the Italian brand is going back to its roots for its new capsule collection.
Celebrating Fendi's Roman heritage, The FF Capsule Collection revolves around the Maison's iconic FF logo, which was designed by Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld in 1965. The archival squared logo perfectly represents the Fendi code: luxurious, but with an irreverent attitude.
The logo is found all over the new collection, emblazoned upon streetwear-inspired pieces such as hoodies, parkas and raincoats, as well as Fendi's signature Rockoko sneakers and accessories such as the Kan I, the Peekaboo and Runaway bags. Besides appearing in its classic tobacco and black colour combination, the logo also gets a facelift for a bold, new black-and-white variation just for the collection.
Can't wait to get your hands on the new collection? Then mark your calenders: selected pieces from The Fendi FF Capsule Collection collection will launch worldwide on Net-a-Porter on 13 April, while the full collection will be available in selected Fendi stores and on Fendi.com from 14 May.
