Faye Dunaway Plays a Hollywood Star in Gucci's New Campaign
Legendary American actress Faye Dunaway made a surprise appearance in a new advertising campaign for Gucci's Sylvie handbags, alongside singer, actress and LGBT activist Soko. In the campaign film, which was shot by Gucci collaborator Petra Collins, Dunaway plays a Hollywood celebrity living the high life.
Cue shots of the Bonnie and Clyde star riding down Beverly Hills in a fancy white limo, lounging by the pool with her daughter (played by Soko) and shopping for new Gucci shoes on Rodeo Drive. Our favourite bit is when Soko and her face off for a friendly, mother-daughter tennis match, for which Dunaway chose to wear a lace Gucci tracksuit from the Fall/Winter 2018 collection. The only thing missing was Iggy Azalea's Fancy playing in the background.
Gucci's Sylvie handbags also steal the spotlight throughout the video, appearing in various sizes, materials and colours, which even includes ostrich and crocodile versions. Watch the film below to spot them all:
