Last night, the who&#39;s who of the fashion world gathered at the Royal Albert Hall in London for the British Fashion Council&#39;s Fashion Awards 2018 (essentially&nbsp;the <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/cfda-awards-2018-winners-raf-simons-supreme-kim-kardashian-and-more">CFDA</a>, but British). Models, celebrities, designers and even <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/royal-wedding-2018-we-dissect-meghan-markle-bridal-look">HRH Meghan Markle</a>,&nbsp;Duchess of Sussex, showed up&nbsp;to celebrate the talents of the fashion industry, and boy, did they have a lot to celebrate.

There were the people&nbsp;whom we already knew would be honoured at the glitzy event, like&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/miuccia-prada-will-be-honoured-at-the-fashion-awards-2018">Miuccia Prada</a>, who received the&nbsp;Outstanding Achievement Award, or <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/events-and-parties/inside-the-burberry-vivienne-westwood-rave-launch-party-with-ezra-miller-miley-cyrus-halsey-and-more">Burberry collaborator Vivienne Westwood</a>, now the proud owner of the&nbsp;Swarovski Award for Positive Change.

Then there were the winners of the competing categories, such as the Brand of the Year, which went&nbsp;to <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/gucci-cruise-arli-and-rajah-bags-launch-installation-paragon">Gucci</a>. (It&#39;s fairly easy&nbsp;to see how the brand behind <a href="http://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/gucci-marmont-belt-bag-most-popular-2018">everyone&#39;s&nbsp;favourite bag of 2018</a>&nbsp;nabbed the award.) Valentino&#39;s Pierpaolo Piccioli was the biggest winner of the night;&nbsp;the Italian designer was&nbsp;crowned with the prestigious title of Designer of the Year.

But perhaps the moment that stood out the most for the evening&#39;s guests was when Givenchy Artistic Director Clare Waight Keller took to the stage to receive the award for Womenswear Designer of the Year &mdash;&nbsp;from a pregnant, Givenchy-clad&nbsp;Princess Meghan Markle, no less.&nbsp;
