Fab 50: Sportmax Celebrates Its 50th Birthday With A Special Anniversary Capsule

Max Mara's sister brand, founded by Achille Maramotti in 1969, turns 50 this year. To celebrate, Sportmax is befittingly looking back at its iconic pieces from the '70s; deconstructing and then reconstructing them, quite literally, with the use of a stitching detail. While this might sound trivial, it forms a consistent decorative element across the 15 pieces from the #SportmaxAnniversary capsule, which includes coats, jackets, dresses, shirts, and knitwear. 

There are also accessories such as hats, a shoulder bag, and open-toe, sling-back shoes. What else ties the capsule together and makes its pieces building blocks for a modular wardrobe? The capsule plays on three vibrant hues - emerald green, bright red, and ultramarine - so you can go monochrome or boldy mix and colour-block as you fancy.
