BLACKPINK's Rosé 'Rewrites the Classics' in Puma's Latest Palermo Campaign
The newly announced global ambassador for the sportswear label stars in their new Palermo campaign where the popular idol styles the iconic sneakers her way.
Following her appointment as a global ambassador for Puma in June, Rosé of BLACKPINK has graced the brand's latest promotional campaign with her iconic presence. The K-pop sensation showcased the Palermo sneaker line, opting for the cobalt blue and black variations, which made their debut in 2023. This collection, inspired by a design from 1980, pays homage to renowned European cities and has since become a cult favorite among football aficionados.
The campaign photos were artfully captured at Nuremberg Airport in Germany. Rosé styled the black sneakers with a sleek ensemble of a bra, biker pants, and a classic black-and-white sports jacket. Meanwhile, the cobalt blue version was paired with a striking yellow sports jacket and over-the-knee socks, creating a bold visual contrast.
This collaboration with Rosé is part of Puma’s initiative to "celebrate the most iconic footwear and adapt them for the new generation," as announced by the German sportswear titan. Rosé, a powerful force in both music and fashion, is celebrated as a global trendsetter. "With her insight and vision, Rosé brings a unique perspective to campaigns like 'Rewrite the Classics,' enhancing the allure of lines such as Palermo and Speedcat," shared Maria Valdes, Puma’s product manager.
