BLACKPINK's Rosé Officially Signs With Record Label, THEBLACKLABEL
With all BLACKPINK members now under separate companies when it comes to individual activities, Rosé has now revealed that she has signed with THEBLACKLABEL for her solo endaevours.
It's safe to say that K-pop quartet, BLACKPINK has already cemented their name in not just K-pop but music history. And as their success as a group continue to reach new heights, so do their individual pursuits and starpower. While all four members are still signed to YG Entertainment with regards to any group activities as BLACKPINK, Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa have decided to establish their own talent companies — namely Odd Atelier, BLISSOO and LLOUD respectively — to manage their solo activities, sponsorships and even music. Rosé has remained quiet on the matter until now!
Today, it was confirmed after some rumours that Rosé has signed with THEBLACKLABEL, a South Korean record label in association with YG Entertainment, founded by renowned producer Teddy and Kush. The label already has some huge names under them including Big Bang's Taeyang, actor Park Bo-gum, R&B crooner Zion.T, Jeon So-mi and more. Now Rosé joins the decorated list of stars!
"We have signed a management contract with artist Rosé," THEBLACKLABEL said in a press statement, "Based on deep trust between producer Teddy and artist Rosé, who worked together for a long time as producer and artist, [Rosé] recently signed a management contract with THEBLACKLABEL." The record label then went on to tease some new music from the Korean songstress, saying, "Rosé is currently preparing to meet global fans with new music, and she plans to engage in music activities worldwide in collaboration with a global record label going forward. We promise to provide full support to ensure that Rosé can be active in various fields."
Rosé made her solo debut back in 2021 with her single album simply titled, R. She also had solo songs like "Hard to Love" in the group's Born Pink album and just recently in April of this year, the stunning idol released a new track for the survival reality show I-Land 2: N/a titled, "Final Love Song". With the announcement of her new chapter as a solo artist with THEBLACKLABEL as well as the star teasing a snippet of a new song called "Vampirehollie" on her birthday this year, fans, including us, are excited for more new music from soloist Rosé.
