Blackpink's Jennie is the Face of Jacquemus’ Newest Holiday Campaign

The ‘Guirlande’ campaign photos showcase the Blackpink star along with a couple of lovable pups.

Fashion’s favourite it-girl is back in another campaign. This time, Blackpink’s Jennie has just been unveiled as the face of Guirlande, French luxury fashion label Jacquemus’ holiday campaign. And she’s not alone. Jennie is joined by a few adorable furry friends who act as the idol’s besties in the campaign.

Meaning garland in French, Guirlande features the brand’s holiday collection, which adopts a decidedly festive colour palette. Forest green, bright Santa red and a few neutrals form the body of the collection, as seen on Jennie. The global star dons a few looks for the campaign, including a few cosy knit sweaters and a matching co-ord set that features leather on the outside and fur on the inside, for maximum warmth during the chilly season.

Guirlande includes signature Jacquemus leather goods and accessories, like the iconic Le Chiquito and Le Bambino bags which come with a special shearling lining around the bags’ silhouettes. The Le Bisou Perle bag is back too, this time in the collection’s distinct forest green and metallic gold. In the campaign images, Jennie is also rocking the brand’s Les Ballerines Rondes flats and the sculptural La Pochette rond carré bag from Jacquemus’ Fall/Winter 2023 collection Le Chouchou.

Plus, it seems Jacquemus is wishing you a season of family fun. Aside from the usual offerings, Guirlande also includes special holiday-themed gifts and home goods. There’s a Jacquemus-branded soap set, sets of Christmas baubles for your tree, playing cards and even a snowball-maker kit.

 

Recently, the Blackpink member also made headlines for her talents outside of the fashion sphere. At Daniel Caesar’s Superpowers World Tour concert on December 11, Jennie made a surprise appearance at the Canadian singer’s concert venue in Seoul. Jennie and Daniel Caesar first crossed paths at Jacquemus’ runway presentation in 2022, aptly called Le Splash in Hawaii. The duo even posed together for some press shots at the event.

So when Jennie unexpectedly turned up at Caesar’s concert, the cheers from fans were deafening. Rather than just attending the concert in the audience, Jennie surprised fans by appearing backstage with Caesar, acting as his live English-to-Korean translator, much to the delight of his fans. Cheers were heard from all over Olympic Hall throughout the segment, but fans went wild after Caesar sported the K-pop-style finger-heart, at Jennie’s request.
