Arm Candy: Dior Unveils the Bobby Bag for Fall 2020
For Dior’s Fall 2020 collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri introduced a new silhouette to the French fashion house’s repertoire of It bags: the Dior Bobby, which comes in a structured half moon shape in a timeless and functional design.
The bag is a homage to Monsieur Christian Dior’s much loved dog Bobby, whose name has similarly inspired numerous iconic designs, from Haute Couture pieces to perfums, in the Maison’s archives.
Combining a neutral palette with its sleek and classic silhouette, the bag is timeless, versatile and modern, matching the mood that Chiuri wanted to explore with her Fall 2020 collection, while making for a shoulder bag well suited for today's call for practicality.
The Dior Bobby comes shaped with a feminine curve, with House codes such as the ‘CD’ logo on the front, and the ‘30 Montaigne’ address on the back, in four colours - black white, camel, and blue Dior Oblique canvas, and in three sizes, from small to large, allowing for endless matching oppurtunities while retaining its classic style.
Made in Florence in either box calfskin or the Dior Oblique canvas, and in detachable straps so you can carry it in hand, on shoulder, or cross body.
