Thai Celebrity Couple, Nine Naphat & Baifern Have Officially Split
The Friendzone co-stars are back to being just friends after announcing their amicable split to the Thai press
Beloved Thai celebrity couple, Nine Naphat and Baifern Pimchanok have broken their silence on their relationship status after rumours started brewing that the two stars are hitting a rocky patch. On July 4th, Nine addressed the rumours directly in a press conference after releasing a public statement on his Instagram on the matter. In the latter statement, Nine said, "Allow me to use this space to address the matter before the story gets out of hand. The rumours that has been circulating has been greatly affecting Baifern, her family as well as myself and my mom. Let me take some time to clear up any resolving issues and I will come out to address this matter in person. Thank you very much for the support that everybody has been giving me and Baifern."
The Thai actor stayed true to his word as afterwards he held a press conference confirming that the two stars are, "taking a step back to being friends" and are no longer romantically involved. Nine also assured that, "We are not angry and don't hate each other, we only have good intentions towards each other" and also denied any third party being involved in their decision to split up. The break-up looks to be one that the two actors have mutually agreed on with Nine citing difficulties in, "balance relationships well" as part of the reason for their split. He then went on to say that he did not, "regret anything that happened" and that, "Baifern is the best woman in my heart." Nine shed tears at the end of the press conference after being comforted by some members of the Thai press.
The news came as a shock to fans despite the growing rumours of a rift between the celebrity couple. Just May of this year, the two shared snaps of their trip together to Switzerland, radiating couple goals as they toured around the scenic country. Both Nine and Baifern have been open about sharing their relationship to the public since their love story began in 2022 after Nine professed his feelings for Baifern. Prior to that, the two stars have worked on several successful projects together, most notably the rom-com film Friendzone which started the "OTP" trend, thanks to their impeccable chemistry both on and off screen.
Being a celebrity couple in the public eye is no easy thing and as mentioned by Nine, the two remain friends and colleagues in the industry. Both stars have not deleted any photos on their feed and look to be taking time away from the media to do some much needed healing. Here's wishing both Nine and Baifern only the very best.
