New era incoming! Taylor Swift's new album is coming this spring.

The singer is no stranger to making big announcements at award ceremonies. In 2022, Swift announced the release of her latest album, Midnights, at the MTV VMA. So it's no surprise that tonight, she celebrated her Grammy win for Best Pop Vocal Album for the beloved album by announcing her newest album, The Tortured Poets Department, set to be released on April 19.

The new album will be her 11th studio album, and one that she has kept a secret for some time. "I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret I've been keeping from you for the last two years," Taylor teased in her acceptance speech. "Which is that my brand new album that comes out April 19, called The Tortured Poet's Department."

After one of her most successful years touring North America with The Era's Tour, Swift continues her run on the road in Tokyo starting Feb 7, making a quick pit-stop at the Grammys to collect her awards.

The announcement comes after months of speculation of a Reputation (Taylor's Version), with Swifties occupying their time with theories and easter eggs they gathered on social media. However, Swift is known for her surprises. As she said, "All's fair in love and poetry."

Swift quickly took to social media to promote her upcoming album. The album is now available for presale on Swift's website, including a collector's edition CD that is available for the next three days. The standard edition of the album will consist of 16 tracks, with "The Manuscript" as the bonus track on the deluxe edition.

In an Instagram story posted by Swift, she shares what seems to be lyrics from the new anticipated record. "And so I enter into evidence my tarnished coat of arms my muses, acquired like bruises my talismans and charms. The tick, tick, tick of love bombs. My veins of pitch black ink."
