Supermodel Naomi Campbell at 50 Welcomes Daughter on Instagram
Naomi Campbell is bringing her top model talents from the runway to the nursery.
In an Instagram post, she revealed that she is now the proud mother of a baby girl. "A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother," she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. "So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love."
While it's clear that Campbell is aboslutely delighted by her new mom status, her journey into motherhood is shocking to many. Fans were unaware that she was expecting a child, considering adoption, etc., but it seems that some of Campbell's closest friends may have known that she was due to become a mom soon.
Fashion designer Marc Jacobs said in response to the post, "Oh my God!!!!! Today is the day?? How absolutely incredible. How lucky she is and how lucky you are! What a wonderful Mother you will be. Blessings all around."
Several of Campbell's other fashion friends like Diane Von Fustenberg and Mariacarla Boscono also commented their congratulations.
