Nour Arida has an ambitious spirit that allows her to tackle anything she sets her mind to. You may know Cody Simpson for his hits “La Da Dee” and “Pretty Brown Eyes”, but the singer/songwriter’s passions also include writing poetry. The musician recently released a compilation of prose and verse, titled Prince Neptune, which one critic called Jack Kerouac meets Arthur Rimbaud for the millennial generation. When he’s not writing, the former competitive swimmer and surfer can be found advocating for ocean conservation. For L’Officiel On Tour, he serenades us with his new solo, “Captain’s Dance With The Devil”.
When she’s not walking shows or posing for in-demand image-makers, American model Grace Hartzel turns to her passion — music. Listen to her bewitching voice on “Only Going Out For The Night”, an exclusive, quarantine-made song she wrote with her boyfriend Elliot Berthault, aka ¼ of post-punk band Rendez-Vous.
British-born, American-raised Miles Chamley-Watson has dedicated over 20 years to the sport of fencing. The international award-winning medallist has competed in the Olympics, World Cups, and championships in every corner of the world. For L’Officiel On Tour, the fashion fan and model shares the basics of fencing, and his tips for building a solid foundation in the sport.
“Listening to music can save your life. Creating things can save your life,” captioned artist, actress, designer, and musician Zumi Rosow in the midst of quarantine. Uncompromised creativity is at the core of the Black Lips saxophonist, a trait which definitely caught the eye of Gucci’s Alessandro Michele, who named a full range of accessories after his muse. Rosow joins L’Officiel On Tour with an inspiring, multi-faceted visual experimentation.
Get grooving and the good vibes going with homegrown talent Adelene Stanley. The award-winning dancer, choreographer, and movement director hosts a “10 @ 10” jam session every morning, where people can feel free to express themselves with movement and music in a no judgment zone. A better pick-me-up than a shot of espresso, bust out your moves as she grooves to throwback tunes from TLC, Michael Jackson, and more.
“I love visual perception in art and I love transformation,” says Dutch actress Sylvia Hoeks. Known for her work in Blade Runner 2014 and See, the actress noticed that she missed creating characters and telling stories during this time, as all production had been halted in light of COVID-19. So she shows us how she harnesses creativity at home with the help of magazine clippings. “I like the different faces that come out, all tell a story in their own way.”
