Jung Hae-in is Reportedly Considering A Lead Role for a New Romance Drama

South Korean actor Jung Hae-in is currently considering adding another rom-com to his list of projects tentatively titled, Fling and Shopping. Following his raging success in recent years, Jung Hae-in has been steadily taking on projects across different genres. Since his rise to popularity with 2017’s While You Were Sleeping, Jung Hae-in has landed leading roles in numerous dramas and films that have been well-received both by Korean and global fans. 

With Fling and Shopping, Jung was offered the role of Lee Hae-seok, the male lead and CEO of a cosmetics company. While nothing is confirmed at the moment, if he does join the cast of Fling and Shopping, the drama will showcase his character alongside a top home shopping host. The female lead has yet to be cast as well. The romantic comedy will present the duo’s daily bickering and bantering, only to reveal how they both long for each other at night. 

Back in 2018, the actor was in the romance drama Something in the Rain, appearing alongside darling actress Son Ye-jin. Jung Hae-in also took a leading role inrthe highly successful Netflix original series, D.P., that unveils the tough life of compulsory military service in South Korea. Prior to that, he starred in Snowdrop, with Blackpink’s Jisoo, in what was the most talked about drama of 2022. More recently, the actor has been travelling all over Asia for his 2023 ‘The 10th Season’ fan meeting tour. He will be gracing our sunny shores on October 29 at the Suntec Convention Centre.
