Le Regard: The Makeup Line for the Modern Hermès Woman

If you're not one to shy away from colour, this makeup range is for you

Much like the Birkin or Kelly, Hermès' flair for all things beauty remains a staple of the house. We saw it with its Plein Air collection launched earlier in February last year and now in Le Regard: Hermès' latest chapter in beauty. Crafted for the modern, self-assured woman, the line boasts several products, such as compact eyeshadow quads, colourful mascaras, and a variety of tools, to create that signature eye the house is known for.

"The Hermès woman observes the world with an active gaze. She is, above all, a woman who observes," says Pierre-Alixis Dumas, Artistic Director of Hermès. And what better way for her to do so than to utilise a makeup range designed to complement and satisfy this astute curiosity?

Much like the Hermès woman, Le Regard is expressive by nature, through its use of colour and the purpose it serves. First in its lineup is the Ombres d’Hermès Eyeshadow Palette: six eyeshadow quartets with four complementary shades packed in each. Available in neutral, smokey, warm, and cool tones, this is our favourite of the drop.

Next up, the Trait d’Hermès Mascara: a non-clumping mascara featuring six intense shades that provide either an enhanced lash or a vibrant pop of colour for days when you're feeling fun and flirty. If you're not one to shy away from colour around your eyes, coat your lashes with shades of blue, green, purple or red over your already-done Ombres d’Hermès eyeshadow look.

From L to R: Ombres d’Hermès Eyeshadow Palette and Trait d’Hermès Mascara

Most importantly, we have Le Regard's luxe makeup tools that help wearers create the cleanest eye makeup looks, with each tool serving a unique purpose. Le traceur to draw clean lines above and under your eyes, or even apply lipsticks, brow powders, or any creamy product to the face with precision. L’ombreur to pack on your favourite shades from the Ombres d’Hermès Eyeshadow Palette. L’estompeur to mix and blend said eyeshadow to soften the look should you wish to go lighter. La browse to neaten your brows or lashes after applying products. And Courbe-cils to prep and curl your lashes before using the Trait d’Hermès Mascara.

With all things in consideration, we can't imagine a better makeup line to indulge in for the holiday season this year.

The Le Regard collection is available at Hermès Liat Towers, Hermès Marina Bay Sands, Hermès Takashimaya, Takashimaya Department Store, Tangs Department Store and online here.
