We caught wind of rumours about a Beyoncé documentary by Netflix for a while ago and nothing was confirmed — until now. Netflix has officially released the trailer for "Homecoming", which will premiere on the streaming platform on Wednesday, 17 April at 12am PT (3pm Singapore time).

Homecoming is an exclusive documentary that shares a behind-the-scenes look at Beyoncé's iconic Coachella performance in 2018, now crowned as #BEYCHELLA. The performance made headlines everywhere because 1. duh, she's Beyoncé and 2. the legend herself took it upon herself to pay tribute to the Black experience in America as she stands as the first black woman to headline Coachella.

The Homecoming trailer features a voiceover of Maya Angelou (taken from her 2013 interview on George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight) with snapshots of Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Destiny's Child and more.
