Ryan Gosling Stars in TAG Heuer Short Film ‘The Chase for Carrera’
Produced by David Leitch, the Hollywood action-comedy commemorates 60 years of the iconic TAG Heuer Carrera timepiece
It’s no surprise that TAG Heuer has gone and pulled off something daring and maverick to celebrate 60 years of its greatest icon. In a world’s first, the Swiss watchmaker premieres a Hollywood action-comedy short starring brand ambassador Ryan Gosling, who is on the run from Vanessa Bayer as she attempts to take his beloved TAG Heuer Carrera off his wrist.
The Chase for Carrera is produced by David Leitch’s 87 North (responsible for some of the most iconic actions films in the past decade, including John Wick, Deadpool 2, and last year’s Bullet Train) and directed by Nash Edgerton, with Gosling and Leitch contributing to the film’s creative.
In addition to the high octane chase scene involving everything from sports cars to heavy-duty trucks, the mini blockbuster also contains a range of Easter eggs that nods to the Carrera’s illustrious past. Check out the film below and see if you can spot them all:

Honestly, there’s no better way to commemorate the spirited TAG Heuer Carrera than with an action extravaganza. The tagline on one of the film’s posters perfectly sums up the global icon’s encompassing appeal: “How bad does he want that watch?” Answer: Badly.
