Big Bang's G-Dragon Becomes Ambassador for BMW's New 'XM' Series
From gracing magazine covers to attending Rolls Royce's VIP events, K-pop icon G-Dragon is busier than ever. Most recently becoming luxury car manufacturer BMW's ambassador for their new 'XM' series.
Recently, Big bang's G-Dragon attended the launch event of BMW's new XM model in Gangnam, Seoul. The XM is an extremely high-performance SAV (sporting multi-terrain vehicle) model and is considered BMW's most powerful model to date. Oh-so-stylish and "one of a kind", G-Dragon appeared prominently in a Chanel tweed suit and a PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 shoe called Panda.
At the event, the 2nd generation K-pop icon was announced as the brand's newest ambassador for this luxury car model. Aside from his widely known influence in fashion, G-dragon is also known for his own supercar collection.
According to the luxury car manufacturer, G-Dragon was chosen for his far reaching global influence in fashion and culture as well as his magnetic and strong personality. The man exudes modern luxury. All of which fits perfectly with the identity of BMW's new XM series. BMW XM reinterprets the concept of an extreme performance SAV through its striking appearance, newly developed M hybrid powertrain and luxurious, futuristic interior. As the new ambassador of the XM family of vehicles, G-Dragon plans to deliver strong innovation and showcase BMW's unique values through a variety of exciting content and activities in the future.
During a Q&A moment at the event, G-Dragon also gave us an update of what's to come for the K-pop artist as fans wait with bated breath for new music. Good news! It looks like the wait will well be worth it as the rapper and singer-songwriter revealed that he is working on a solo album.
