Chinese Actor Deng Lun is the New Face of Bally
Confident, casual and elegant are the words that best describe Bally’s fashion spirit. Good news is, the 168-year-old Swiss luxury brand has found a match in Chinese actor Deng Lun who embodies all these same qualities.
As Bally’s first male Asia-Pacific ambassador for 2019, the actor will star in the brand’s upcoming campaigns for the year.
“We are delighted to welcome Deng Lun to the Bally team. We have been keeping an eye on his career over the past few years, and with his refined skill and impeccable image, we couldn’t think of anyone better suited to being the face of Bally in one of the world’s most dynamic and important market places.’ – Frédéric de Narp, Bally Group CEO.
Deng will make his Bally debut, alongside Australian supermodel Charlee Fraser, in the brand’s Californian-inspired Spring/Summer 2019 campaign. He will later journey to the Swiss mountains as the brand pays homage to its Helvetian heritage for Autumn/Winter 2019.
27-year old Deng Lun made his debut in 2012 as the romantic lead in Flowers in Fog and has since garnered over 31 million fans on Weibo alone. Named as one of China’s most accomplished young actors, he has since gained widespread popularity after starring in productions like White Deer and Ash-like Frost, bagging several awards including ‘Popular Artist of the Year’ at iQIYI All-Star Carnival and ‘Popular Artist of the Year’ at Sina Weibo Night Awards in January 2019.
