What to Expect from Marquee, Singapore's Biggest Nightclub
Calling all party people: a legendary nightclub is about to make its grand debut right here on 12 April. Set to be the largest nightclub in Singapore, the new Marquee Singapore at Marina Bay Sands promises to be a game changer for the local nightlife scene. The upcoming nightlife destination is born out of a collaboration between Marina Bay Sands and TAO Group, owner of the successful LAVO Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar.
Marquee Singapore will occupy one of the two theatres in Marina Bay Sands, boasting a three-storey space holding multiple entertainment concepts to amaze its guests. Ahead of its grand opening night, we give you the low-down on the venue that's currently the talk of the town.
1. AN INTERNATIONAL PORTFOLIO
For frequent travellers and jet-setters, the name "Marquee" will certainly ring more than a few bells; the brand is well-known as one of the biggest partying hubs internationally, with locations in New York City, Sydney and Las Vegas.
Singapore is the fourth destination worldwide that Marquee has found its home. With their amazing experience hosting some of the best parties — including supermodel Heidi Klum's famous Halloween Party and DJ Khaled’s post-Video Music Awards bash — you already know that Marquee Singapore will not disappoint.
2. A 70-FEET FERRIS WHEEL
Expect a multi-sensory experience when you first enter Marquee Singapore. The highlight of the massive, three-storey space is a 70-feet tall, eight-armed ferris wheel, where guests can hop on to enjoy a breathtaking view of its interior. This will be the first ever ferris wheel built within any of the Marquee nightclubs, and it will also have photo booths in each pod for guests' pleasure.
With a completely unique design that sets itself apart from its New York, Sydney and Vegas counterparts, Marquee Singapore promises a night to remember for all – both for locals and international visitors and personalities.
3. AN EXTRAORDINARY MUSIC LINE-UP
Another thing that sets Marquee Singapore apart within the nightlife scene is its amazing line-up of musical acts.
Known to have hosted world-class entertainers and DJs like Kaskade, Dash Berlin, Erick Morillo, Andrew Rayel, DJ Khaled, French Montana and Travis Scott in its various locations, Marquee Singapore is sure to bring the same calibre of artists on the regular for our entertainment.
And if we go by its recent New York party featuring Zedd, we know that we can expect big things from Marquee Singapore.
4. A KILLER OPENING MONTH LINE-UP
This month, Marquee will host the iconic Grammy award-winning DJ Tiësto to kickstart its grand opening on Friday night, 12 April, while fellow Dutch DJ Afrojack will light up the night on Saturday, 13 April alongside rapper A$AP Rocky.
After the two stellar DJ performances, patrons of Marquee will also feature acts like Above & Beyond on 19 April, Steve Aoki on 20 April, Kaskade on 26 April and Showtek on 27 April.
