Till 31 October, Pledge in Pink to Help End Breast Cancer
The Estée Lauder Companies will donate $5 for every public Instagram and Facebook post using the hashtags #TimeToEndBreastCancer and #IlluminatePinkSG to help facilitate more breast cancer research.
Want to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month but don’t know how? Fret not, as you still have a whole list of things you could do to contribute to the cause in the last couple of days before November swings by.
Courtesy of The Estée Lauder Companies’ initiatives and partnerships with various organisations like WeBarre and Freedom Yoga, here’s how you can play your part against the dreaded disease, in addition to donations.
Run for a Cause
Take part in the Estée Lauder Breast Cancer Campaign 75km Virtual Run from any time and anywhere in the world from now till the end of the month. Register at elcbccvirtualrun2021.com for $25 to receive a complimentary Pink Ribbon t-shirt to don on your run.
To receive the full kit consisting of a complimentary Pink race pack (worth $80 of beauty products from The Estée Lauder Companies), tote bag and t-shirt, simply top up $25 more.
L’Officiel Recommends: Take the scenic route on your run. Every night from 7 pm onwards, landmarks — National Gallery Singapore, Fullerton Hotel, Singapore Science Centre, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Sports Hub and National Stadium will be lit up in pink to show their solidarity with the cause.
All proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Purchase Exclusive Pink Ribbon Products
If you’re looking to replenish your favourite beauty products from Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Estée Lauder, Jo Malone London, La Mer and Origins, now is the best time to do so as partial proceeds of each sale will go towards the Breast Cancer Foundation. On top of that, limited edition designs of each product will be available for purchase, making it all the more special.
To shop, visit Sephora, Lazada, and any authorised retailers and boutiques.
Participate in Pink Classes
This October, The Estée Lauder Companies has partnered with fitness studios WeBarre and Freedom Yoga to offer special classes for the cause. For just $30 for a virtual class and $50 for a physical one at WeBarre, participants will receive a free Artclaytion x ELC tote bag and beauty kit from The Estée Lauder Companies that are worth $110 on top of learning a new skill.
Freedom Yoga is also offering participants one physical class or two virtual classes at $50, where they will also be gifted a beauty back worth $110.
All proceeds from the classes will be donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Pledge in Pink on Instagram and Facebook
If money isn’t an option right now, let The Estée Lauder Companies do the heavy lifting for you. All you have to do is pick up your phone.
For every public, in-feed post on Instagram and Facebook using the hashtags #TimeToEndBreastCancer and #IlluminatePinkSG, the corporation will be donating $5 (up to $10,000) to support breast disease research at Singapore General Hospital. In addition to that, the government will also be matching the amount dollar for dollar.
The only catch? The photos have to feature pink accents.
