The Dream Weekend Retreat for the Wellness-Conscious
Attention, the health-and-wellness-conscious. There's a new hotel, Oasia Resort Sentosa, in town that'll allow you to enjoy that much needed staycation, minus the guilt.
For one, the 191-room island resort offers a wellness itinerary that sets it apart - designed to help you detox the body and maintain your fitness, all while you're enjoying your staycay. Beyond the property's pool and gym, Oasia Resort Sentosa has complimentary programmes including HIIT and yoga classes, qi gong sessions, in-room guided workout videos, and various well-being workshops hosted by the resort’s partnering brands trained professionals. The resort offers "Wellness Hours" that include "Wind-Down Hour", where guests are invited to join for a balm and body scrub making workshop. There are even complimentary food education activities, with workshops including Managing Food Waste in collaboration with UglyFood, Farm to Table by Grobrix, and Food Myths, Nutrition & Herbalism by Asmara.
A refreshing journey commences as soon as you step into the resort's grounds, with the scent of orange peel, lemongrass, pepper, ginger and hinoki embracing you - which brings us to the resort's sanctuary of relexation, the Oasia Spa.
Oasia Spa is in fact is the first spa destination by Far East Hospitality, and features full-body massages that combine traditional Thai massage, the Japanese bodywork of shiatsu pressure points, and Indian massage techniques. The spa also offers various facial and grooming treatments - and happens to be the first hotel spa in Singapore to offer cryotherapy facials, which employ the controlled usage of extreme cold temperature to help shrink pores, tighten skin, and remove toxins and swelling. Here, you'll also find KOTOSHINA - Oasia Spa is the first in Southeast Asia and Oceania to partner with the raved about organic skin care brand from Kyoto, Japan.
And helping to complete your Oasia Resort Sentosa wellness experience is the property's signature restaurant, Bedrock Origin, which is the new sister restaurant of Singapore’s award-winning Bedrock Bar & Grill. The resort's restaurant serves "evolved cuisine" that reflects its island home. Wholesome breakfast options include the Barramundi Mixed Oat Congee, made from low GI whole grain oats and locally-farmed Kühlbarra Barramundi, and the Vitality, loaded with superfoods such as omega-3 eggs, chia seeds, and spinach. A first in Singapore, Bedrock Origin's menu also features the Shorthorn Wagyu Striploin from Japan.
