Take A Glimpse Inside The Minimalist Mansion of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
When it comes to interior design, the Kardashian-West family is decidedly quite minimalist. The interiors of their futuristic Los Angeles mansion consist of a neutral palette, mainly white, and is complemented by furniture of the same tone throughout the home.
“Everything in the outside world is so chaotic. I like to come into a place and immediately feel the calmness,” Kim Kardashian explains to "AD" magazine. The house was purchased in 2013 and with the help of illustrious Belgian designer and tastemaker Axel Vervoordt, made into the minimal design that it is today.
Matter fact, Kanye West notes that the minimalist design is ideal for children. "The kids ride their scooters down the hallways and jump around on top of the low Axel tables, which they use as a kind of stage. This house may be a case study, but our vision for it was built around our family,” Kanye says. In addition, we cannot forget the pink monochrome room of North West!
The six-year-old child's room, also designed by Vervoordt, is covered from floor to ceiling in all things pink and rosy. From the butterfly headboard to the ultra-inviting bedding, vanity and side table, this beautiful pink room looks like it was taken from a fairy tale. Certainly well suited for a princess, much less so a Kardashian!
