You Can Now Dine at a Jacquemus Café in Paris
Simon Porte Jacquemus has brought the carefree, rustic lifestyle of his Southern French hometown to the heart of Paris by opening, of all things, his very first food establishment: Café Citron. Located at the new Galeries Lafayette flagship on Champs-Élysées, the café is named after Jacquemus's favourite colour and is as Jacquemus as you'd expect.
The space is filled with lemon trees, terracotta pots and cottage-style wooden furniture, on which you can dine on wholesome meals by renowned pastry chefs such as Cédric Grolet, Jeffrey Cagnes, and Anthony Courtiells. We're talking toast with homemade jam or boiled eggs, marinated Mediterranean veggies and sardines, and pistachio flans and rosemary lemon tarts.
Café Citron is certainly a must-visit for folks who are looking for a slice of simple, authentic country living — or even if you're just looking for the perfect Insta-selfie backdrop. Find it on 60 avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris.
