Cameron Diaz's $20 Million Dollar Mansion Is a Farmhouse Fantasy
After an entire decade living on a property in Coldwater Canyon that she bought from Candice Bergen, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden upgraded to a new home in a different neighbourhood, where some of their new closest neighbours include Vin Diesel, Gene Simmons , John Mayer, Kate Upton and Justin Verlander.
The retired actress, who has now become a wine mogul, paid the total asking price of nearly $20 million SGD for her new address.
Comfortably protected behind a huge gate and concierge with full-time security staff, the new property extends over 1.7 acres and classifies itself as a genuine complex, with a mansion-sized main house and a separate guesthouse, both made of farm-style houses with custom architecture.
In addition to a long paved road, the site has a three-car garage and space for at least 10 additional vehicles. The living room has a double height and opens onto external gardens and is heated by an impressive fireplace.
But it is the kitchen with impeccable decoration that is the heart of the house, with its an incredible island to eat and state-of-the-art appliances. A breakfast area extends to a tree-shaded patio for convenient outdoor entertainment, while a more formal dining room features an air-conditioned cellar, perfect for displaying bottles of the Alvaline Diaz brand.
Upstairs, the master bedroom includes its own seating area, fireplace and private patio, while the main double bathrooms have glam brass lamps and marble floors.
The couple's current residence is also located in the mountains above Beverly Hills, in a gated community that houses stars like Adele, Jennifer Lawrence and Katy Perry. In addition, the actress maintains a cottage-sized house above Los Angeles' bustling Sunset Strip, as well as another million dollae apartment in New York's Chelsea neighborhood.
