Swiss luxury watch brand Richard Mille has named Nelly Korda as its newest partner. The announcement comes fresh after the 20-year-old golfer's victory in Adelaide, where she was crowned Winner of the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open.

Korda is no stranger to the sports world: her parents, Petr and Regina Korda are former tennis stars; her brother Sebastian is a professional tennis player; and her sister Jessica is also a professional golfer. Korda began her golf career in 2016, when she won the Sioux Falls LPGA Golf Tournament leg of the Symetra Tour. She quickly became one of the youngest stars of the golfing world, joining the US team in the Junior Solheim Cup and bagging accolades at the Harter Hall Invitational 2015 and the PING Invitational 2015.

Korda joins the many star atheletes in Richard Mille's family of ambassadors, including high jump specialist Mutaz Essa Barshim, tennis player Alexander Zverev, racing driver Charles Leclerc and alpine ski racer Alexis Pinturaul. The American golfer is also currently one of the youngest "friend of the brand", along with fellow 20-year-old and high jump champion Yuliya Levchenko. Together, Richard Mille's cohort of ambassadors will help to develop a sporty women’s watch collection for the brand.
