It's T Time: Tiffany & Co. Debuts The Tiffany T1 Collection
We don’t mean to be funny, but when is a T not a T? When it’s a Tiffany T. All jokes aside, the letter really does take on new meaning in the lexicon of the luxury house. First introduced in 2014, the Tiffany T collection takes the character to a whole other level, deconstructing and refining its shape to create strongly graphic and strikingly modern pieces, which not only evoke the timelessness and tastefulness synonymous with the Tiffany & Co. name, but also allude to the distinctive architecture of New York, the city closest to the brand’s heart. Now, the collection evolves further with a new line of designs by chief artistic officer Reed Krakoff, dubbed the Tiffany T1.
Created for confident and courageous women at every stage in life, the series combines boldly angular shapes with elegant and feminine proportions. Crafted from luminous 18-karat gold, the elongated T delicately traces the wrist, finger or neck, forming an unbroken circle that represents individual strength and self-empowerment. Plain (but not plain) gold pieces make a subtle statement, while those enriched with glittering hand-set diamonds along the bevelled edges command immediate attention.
The Tiffany T1 collection is being introduced with nine rose gold styles and an exclusive high jewellery necklace (already seen on Charlize Theron and Florence Pugh at the 2020 BAFTAs). This will be followed by white and yellow gold variants sometime during the summer.
