Cartier Unveils New XL Additions to the Clash de Cartier Collection
Enlivening the supersized tradition, the collection expands with onyx and diamond iterations with a bodacious and frisky edge.
A daring embodiment of new dualities, Cartier welcomes new iterations of supple yet impactful supersized accessories. First introduced in 2019, the Clash de Cartier Collection results from the house’s effort to take on uncompromising punk aesthetics, epitomising its innovative and playful spirit. Going for a more delicate and less rigid structure, the collection layers opposing energies of rebellion and refinement.
Back and better than ever, Cartier’s latest additions are a balancing act of elegance and edginess, straddling the juxtaposition of onyx and diamonds. The instantly recognisable clou carré studs have been amplified with textural counterparts where solid and architectural designs are magnified with soft volume and flow.
Here, round onyx beads are paved against a row of shining rose gold pointed studs, adding a contrast of softness and depth. The beads and studs are enhanced with a rounded volume, making them soft to the touch as it falls nicely against the skin. Flaunting twice the allure, a diving line of diamonds interconnects the highly polished onyx beads and conical studs. As with all Clash de Cartier jewellery, these ungendered pieces are made to be layered and stacked as the wearer pleases.
Taking charge in the multifaceted campaign is none other than British-American star Lily Collins as she masters the art of duality, unveiling her subversive and elegant attitude, aptly encapsulating the complexity of modern women on and off the silver screen. Flaunting a suite of rings, earrings, a necklace and a bracelet from the Clash de Cartier collection, she perfectly embodied the fluid and versatile character of the house, taking Cartier’s marvels to a new level.
