The past, present and future collided as luxury Italian label, Fendi, told its story through artistic displays at this exclusive, by-appointment-only event.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Opening its sartorial doors, the first 'World of Fendi' event in Southeast Asia touched down in Singapore's ArtScience Museum this April, taking attendees on a behind-the-scenes exclusive of the maison's renowned artisanal savoir-faire in the art of fur, leather goods and couture through a series of digital illustrations that depicted house's celebrated craftsmanship, boundless innovation and bold creativity that has continued to propel the renowned Italian label to the forefront of the luxury fashion world.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

One of the highlights of the event included a display of 12 looks from Fendi's Couture Spring Summer 2022 collection, a true reflection of the brand's skilful adaptation of the old and the new. Masterful craftsmanship melded with sci-fi silhouettes creates an other-worldly vision charged with an aura of transcendence. Emphasising various layers, hand-made embroideries, skilful print and paint techniques, the collection presents an amalgamation of traditional techniques alongside modern craftsmanship, displaying opulent fabrics of Duchesse silk and organza, illuminated with more traditional and intricate mother of pearl work and beading.&nbsp; Historical codes are also never far away from the Fendi aesthetic, and the city of Rome, with its statuesque marbles and ecclesiastical aesthetics, is explored with a touch of futurism. Inspired by the classical statues located outside of Fendi's Palazzo della Civilt&agrave; Italiana, sheared mink and velvet are hand-painted in a dramatic, tonal contrast of light and dark tones. For an ethereal opulence, hand-selected precious stones such as Pyrite, Hematite and Lava stone are inset onto bags while natural crystal geodes such as Amethyst, adorn the jewellery from the collection.

With more than 90 years of excellence in the field, Fendi's fur-making abilities blend tradition with innovation, constantly morphing to adapt to changing tastes in the fashion landscape while continuing to stay true to the immaculate artisanship of its founding. Injected with their own, unique personality the House's iconic bags and furs personify its immaculate craftsmanship. The Peekaboo, Baguette and ultra-chic newcomer, the Fendi First, are crafted from exotic leather with more than fifty different combinations while contemporary furs reflect today's streets-style trends such as the fur varsity jackets are available for personalisation with Fendi's signature motifs including the FF and Karligraphy logo elements. Different methods and techniques are implied in the creation of unique fur designs that are refreshed seasonally in exciting new shades and silhouettes, all while keeping with the brand's timeless, elegant aesthetic that continues to grace the styles of celebrities, influencers and fashionistas alike.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;
