Virgil Abloh, Takashi Murakami and Gagosian Gallery T-shirt Collaboration
A designer, A Japanese artist and a London gallery partnered on an art-meets-fashion project
Following the collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Virgil Abloh announced another art project with the prestigious Gagosian Gallery in London.
For this exhibition, Abloh worked with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami on a t-shirt that features a print of William Shakespeare.
Murakami added his signature motifs and prints over the portrait of the English poet, with Abloh signing off the t-shirt with the brand’s logo.
