Fast Favourite: The New FF Tote From Fendi
Silvia Venturini Fendi is the mastermind behind several of the luxury house’s highly sought-after bags, like the Baguette and the Peekaboo, so it’s safe to say she knows what it takes to create a cult accessory. Take Fendi’s Resort 2020 season, for example. Her debut collection as creative director and the first without the guidance of Karl Lagerfeld serves up some seriously show-stealing pieces, the crown jewel of which has to be the new FF Tote.
Reminiscent of an archival shape from the ‘90s, the FF Tote delights with its deceivingly simple and minimalist design. Featuring a structured silhouette, short top handles with a ton sur ton closure, an A4-fit interior, and a removable strap, this versatile bag promises to suit virtually any need or occasion, and it also comes in three sizes to satisfy different tastes. The tote’s only embellishment comes in the form of the signature interlocking FF logo, which bridges the gap between handle and body, and is rendered here in gold-finished metal.
Crafted from glacier leather with a slightly shiny finish, the FF Tote comes in chic colourways of bold red, optical white, blush pink, and black, as well as a two-toned brown and white version in python.
