A lot has changed in the world of fashion over the past 10 years, some for the better and some for the worse, but one constant that has remained is the timeless allure of Givenchy’s Antigona bag. First spotted on the Fall/Winter 2010 runway, the Antigona is just as noteworthy as it was a decade ago, if not more. Already a favourite among style-setters like Rihanna, Kate Moss, Beyoncé, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Miranda Kerr, this year the maison introduces a new iteration that is sure to be another instant hit, the Antigona Soft.

As the “soft” in its name suggests, the latest version offers a more supple take on the classic Boston bag than its sleek and structured elder sibling. Echoing the second-skin sensuality of a well-worn leather coat, the Antigona Soft is defined by fluid lines, enveloping straps, and a generously proportioned body, while retaining the geometry and signature triangle patch of the original. An ample central compartment, a discreet slip pocket, side straps with turn-lock fastenings, and a removable shoulder strap enhance its work to weekend versatility.

Elegantly feminine but with a sense of masculine confidence, the Antigona Soft is available in three sizes and an array of colours and finishes, including pearl grey, midnight blue, aubergine, candy pink, and military green, along with directional variations featuring dip-dyed leather, hand-placed studs, and embroidered or printed stripes.
